Canada meets the UK

When the Duke and Duchess came to Canada, I loved that she picked Erdem - Canadian born designer. Still to this day in love with this dress. So stylish and appropriate for her first Canadian engagement. Lace sleeves always suit her. That deep navy blue is paired perfectly with a beige clutch as a contrast element.

Tempered with floral

The icy light blue could seem dull. Alice Temperley's floral inspiration allows the intricate design brings the dress to life. I like that the design sits atop rather than woven in. She pulls her hair back to show off the beauty of body of the dress.

Long live McQueen

How can I not start with this one?!

Ever since she walked down the aisle in her custom made Alexander McQueen made by Sarah Burton, the Duchess has embodied grace, elegance, and style in subsequent choices. And she has worn this designer A LOT. How does one even pick favourites?

Everything about this dress is incredible. The sleeves foreshadow her future style choices. They were a smart way of having conservative long sleeves but with modern elegance. That train! Now that is royal. Not crazy long like Diana's but still adds that wow factor. Very bold. I was surprised by the neckline but with the shoulders covered up, it was deemed to be appropriate. Love that she chose to show off her small frame with the top half but add that princess feel with a full skirt. A definite 10/10.

Royalist Forever

After oohing and awing over the fashion scene, why not start documenting my favourites.

I have always adored the British Monarchy. Especially the Duchess' fashion. Going through her countless beautiful outfits, it is so hard to pick favourites. She has a knack for choosing great patterned dresses, pleats, sleeves, and around the knees. She is chic every time. Style icon.
