Why Wedge When You Can Sledge

The L.K. Bennett Nude Sledge pumps have made countless appearances. It is only fitting for a post on them.

Nude pumps go with almost anything. The Duchess wears them so often, you can tell she adores them. Considering all the standing she does at events, these must provide amazing comfort.

If you're me (wobbling all over the place), you go for a short heel. Unfortunately, the wow factor can be taken away. On the other hand, a super long heel can make you come off suggestive. This is a great choice with the added platform to add that royal boost and height, allowing the heel not to come off as risqué.

I love that shine. It pairs with her shiny brown locks. I favour a rounded front, so another win.

Pure sophistication in a pair of nude pumps.

Canada meets the UK

When the Duke and Duchess came to Canada, I loved that she picked Erdem - Canadian born designer. Still to this day in love with this dress. So stylish and appropriate for her first Canadian engagement. Lace sleeves always suit her. That deep navy blue is paired perfectly with a beige clutch as a contrast element.

Long live McQueen

How can I not start with this one?!

Ever since she walked down the aisle in her custom made Alexander McQueen made by Sarah Burton, the Duchess has embodied grace, elegance, and style in subsequent choices. And she has worn this designer A LOT. How does one even pick favourites?

Everything about this dress is incredible. The sleeves foreshadow her future style choices. They were a smart way of having conservative long sleeves but with modern elegance. That train! Now that is royal. Not crazy long like Diana's but still adds that wow factor. Very bold. I was surprised by the neckline but with the shoulders covered up, it was deemed to be appropriate. Love that she chose to show off her small frame with the top half but add that princess feel with a full skirt. A definite 10/10.
