Whistle while you work

This dress is a good reminder of the brand's progression from patterned to clean one tone focus. I love the pattern. Reminds me of water, rocks, nature. The small black tightening around the waist brings out the hints of black throughout the pattern

Red and pleats

This red two piece ensemble added that bold look to mark an important celebration of the diamond jubilee. I applaud her for the long sleeves and longer skirt unlike other takes on this outfit. By doing this, I find she looks much taller and regal. Huge fan of pleats! They are done at the perfect width. Add in a stylish hat with the hair pulled to the right and we're off.

Maraschino cherry please

Gossip Girl meets France. And macarons.

While my friend was on an exchange to Paris, she told me that no one leaves the house without looking fresh off the runway. (Not going to lie, I like wearing my sweats for those quick errands.) Fancy schmancy.

Bright and colourful for summer. Love the white top contrasted with the black skirt. They each have - wish I had a better word - a poofed up look. They seem like conflicting pieces but it all works wonderfully. The cherries give a sweet and sultry vibe. The pattern of pinks and teals work with the black. It all comes together with a colourful waist line and platform sandals for a beautiful summer day.

Waldorfing

The character of Blair has always been my favourite on Gossip Girl. Leighton Meester played her perfectly. And her fashion: love it. Serena's is a bit to out there for me at times, but regardless she always rocks it. This blog is fantastic - showcases all the amazing styles of Blair. Of course I don't want to rip off any bloggers' ideas, so like my royal posts, I will pick some of my favourite GG fashion moments. You never know, may throw in other TV fashion moments.
