Summer Heat Meets Winter Chills via Fall Boots

Fall is a transition period from heat to cold and fashion reflects this. The airiness of the outfit is fitted with a pair of brown boots: summer moving into winter.

What really struck me with this Tory Burch number was the great use of colour. Red is a great middle ground to make black and brown work in the same palette. Plus the model's hair also plays into the palette. The single patterned stripe from the black work works nicely into a busy patterned skirt which leads to the simplicity of brown boots. The skirt reminds me of a vintage shawl, especially with the frills at the end.

Definitely a runway look I'd love to replicate.

Chalk coloured sidewalk

Busy working grownup meets child without a care in the world. I love the two worlds colliding. A great middle ground by D&G. The jacket is perfectly fitted with a great parallel button combo, open pockets and v-neck. Great for a Fall stroll.

On to the skirt. I love the colour and freedom. I instantly thought of a blank canvas like a sidewalk being awakened with beautiful, fun imagery. It provides a youthful vibe. Paired together with a gorgeous purse and black heels, the colours and focus stay on the skirt.

RTW blue flower shower

I am a sucker for floral. On top of that, blue floral and I am sold. I love this look for it's simplicity. It's a true RTW piece. Really enjoy the shower of blue and blue+white flowers. I like the leaves are there to add a contrast of black. The sleeves are a great wide width to complement the flow of the dress.

Dazzle with tassels

Since I have loved the Lanvin looks on the red carpet this past season, I was intrigued to see their Fall Collection. This look is a great RTW option. I like the business formal meets boots duo, adds a rockin' vibe. Love the high waist which is complemented by the perfect length of the blazer. And of course the tassels, just to add that little something extra.

Shimmering flora

Mirroring Spring RTW 2015, I chose a Badgley Mischka ballgown for Fall. The top is wonderful -- risque, shiny, fashion forward. What sticks out to me is the shine of the blue, very metallic. The choice of a brown background is a unique element. It doesn't make the blue pop out, but softens it so the shine isn't overbearing. I would love to have a shortened skirt of the same design.
