There is a deconstructed feel to the dress. I love the layers and pleats of the high-waisted skirt. Unlike the loose bottom, the top is tightened. Almost more refined. The asymmetrical design keeps to the deconstructed theme. It has an ancient Greece toga feel with the white fabric inching its way to one shoulder. I tried picturing the dress without the grey translucent portion - much better with it. It it unique. It highlights the dress by adding a contrasting element. Stunning ensemble.
